PERFORMING OPPORTUNITIES

The Grices believe in offering as many performing
opportunities as are possible to their students. Along with
encouraging the students to audition for school and
community theater productions, and to sing solos in
church, they hold regular recitals in Stroudsburg and in their
home.
In 2006, they formed Pennsylvania Lyric Opera
Theater. The first production was Gilbert and Sullivan's
The Gondoliers. It was a young artist program and was
open to any undergraduate college student
in northeast PA. In 2007, they produced Die Fledermaus,
again for young artists, to rave reviews.
This season's productions include Opera Is For Lovers
(3/12), Young Artist Show TBA (6/12), Madame Butterfly
in Italian with full orchestra (8/12), Hansel & Gretel
(11/12) and of course our annual recital.
